With over 30 years of experience, Kim, is a master hairstylist who prioritizes exceptional customer service and ongoing education. In 2008, she turned her dream of owning a studio into reality and has since built what Techniks is today. Kim’s passion for beauty and empowering clients is at the heart of her work. As the proud owner of a women-led studio, she takes great pride in supporting and guiding this team of skilled women. (Kim is no longer taking new clients)

Jen’s journey in hairdressing began in high school and led her to her first apprenticeship at Cindy & Co Hair Salon when she was in grade 11. After gaining six years of experience, she took a break to travel and explore Australia and Southeast Asia. After returning from her time abroad, Jen found her professional home at Techniks, where she has been ever since. While she excels in all areas of hairstyling, Jen has a particular passion for expressing her creativity through formal and updo styles. Her clients adore her and return time and time again, keeping her fully booked. As a result, she is not accepting new clients at this time.

With over 12 years of experience in the beauty industry, Sasha is a highly skilled hair artist specializing in blonding, ombré, and balayage. Her artistic eye and precision allow her to create flawless styles that enhance each client’s natural beauty. With her bubbly, outgoing personality, Sasha makes every salon visit a fun and positive experience. She loves connecting with new clients and will create a hairstyle that perfectly suits your lifestyle and personality. 

As top student in her class, Cassia graduated from John Casablancas Institute in 2021 and has been a valued member of the Techniks team ever since. Her styling has been featured in multiple magazines, showcasing her talent and creativity. Cassia specializes in highlighting and colouring techniques that deliver fresh, vibrant results while maintaining a natural, effortless look. She also excels at men’s cuts, from longer flowy styles to clean fades. Outside of the salon, she also offers eyelash extension services from home.

Jessica is a passionate hairstylist who graduated from Blanche Macdonald in 2023, completing the Professional Hairstyling Program. With a keen eye for detail and a love for all things blonde and layered cuts, she brings a fresh, creative approach to every look.

Always striving to enhance her skill set, Jess will be graduating with her Barbering Diploma in the summer of 2025, expanding her services to include precise, tailored cuts for both men and women.

With over 20 years of experience, Caroline is a talented esthetician who combines expert knowledge with a warm, welcoming personality. Caroline offers a variety of services, including facials, massage, manicures, pedicures, and hair removal. She offers both traditional waxing and her specialty, Alexandria Sugaring. While both are effective hair removal methods, sugaring is an all-natural, gentler alternative to waxing. In addition to her spa services, Caroline is also a skilled lash and brow artist, offering shaping, tinting, and the popular Yumi Lash Lifts.
