In 2008, she realized her dream of owning a studio and has since curated a skilled team. Kim's passion for beauty and building confidence is evident in her dedicated approach to the industry. Furthermore, she takes pride in owning and leading a women-owned studio, where every aspect is managed by a team of talented women.

Meet Julie, one of our Master Stylists boasting over 40 years of expertise. Hailing from the UK, where she kick started her career, Julie has a passion for continuous learning, attending advanced education classes, including a recent one in Italy focusing on the latest Milkshake collection techniques. Committed to excellent customer service, Julie takes pleasure in offering professional recommendations to help you achieve your hair goals. She looks forward to the opportunity to meet you.

From a passion for hairdressing sparked in high school to her first apprenticeship at Cindy & Co hair salon in grade 11, Jen's journey has been a dynamic one. After six years of experience, she took a hiatus in 2010 to explore Australia and Southeast Asia. Returning to Canada in 2012, she found her professional home at Techniks and has been with us ever since. Meet Mackenzie, our talented Senior stylist trained at one of Western Canada's top Hairdressing Academies. Since joining Techniks Hair Studio and Spa in January 2019, Mackenzie has been bringing a trendy and energetic vibe to her work, always eager to learn and grow.

Beyond her skills with hair, Mackenzie is passionate about boosting her clients' confidence. In the fall of 2023, she took a trip to Italy for  training with Milkshake, a leader in the hair industry. It's all part of her commitment to delivering the best experience possible to her clients

Sasha is a seasoned hair artist with over 12 years of expertise in the beauty industry. Her passion and specialization lie in the art of blonding, ombre, and balayage techniques. With a creative touch and a keen eye for detail, Sasha transforms hair into stunning works of art. She takes pride in her ability to create personalized looks that enhance natural beauty. Sasha is always excited to welcome new clients into her chair, ready to craft the perfect hairstyle that reflects your unique style and personality."

Cassia has been working at Techniks since graduating from JCI hair school where she was awarded top student in her class. My favourite part of being a hairdresser is seeing the joy and confidence clients get when they leave the salon. I also work as an eyelash tech and a gymnastics coach when I’m not at the salon. My long term goal is to eventually open my own salon!

Having completed the Hair Art Design program at the John Casablancas Institute in 2021, Jazmyn has a passion for the beauty industry and a genuine commitment to instilling confidence and positivity in others. Witnessing the joy reflected in people's faces upon achieving their desired look is one of her favorite parts of being a stylist. Eager to meet new clients, acquire new skills, be creative, and cultivate a flourishing career as a stylist at Techniks, Jazmyn looks forward to meeting you.

Boasting a rich background with over 6 years in the beauty industry, Nafiseh has emerged as one of the go-to experts for personalized and sophisticated hair colors. Specializing in threading, she offers a refined alternative to traditional waxing, ensuring a precise and comfortable hair removal experience. Nafiseh is not only dedicated to delivering top-notch services but is equally committed to creating an atmosphere where clients leave feeling both confident and relaxed. Georgia graduated from Vancouver Community College Hairstyling Program in July of 2023. She is passionate about fashion colours, highlights and layered cuts. When not in the salon, you’ll catch her skiing the local mountains in the winter or paddle boarding at the beach in the summer.
